Childhood has always held a special place in my heart. It is a beautiful world of discovery, imagination, authenticity, and joy. It naturally became my area of interest as I studied Fine Art Photography at Arizona State University. While there, I had the privilege of working with a family very dear to me. I spent several semesters recording simple, every day moments of childhood on film that provided intimate windows into the developing personalities of their three small children. I quickly realized that I was able to capture a far more telling portrait of Kylie as she curled up to a large rock sucking her thumb than having her simply 'smile for the camera'. What I discovered taught me to see and savor the beauty in life's simple, yet profound little moments. I immediately knew I would pursue this passion as a profession and started my business upon graduating Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State in 2007.

Nothing warms my heart more than hearing our son declare “This is the BEST day ever” about the simplest of things, or the twinkle in my daughter’s eye when she tells me she loves me more than cupcakes, or the way our twins run giddy toward us with arms open wide for a huge hug. Becoming a mother is truly one of God’s greatest blessings in my life and I am overwhelmingly grateful for this special (and demanding!) season in our lives. Even amidst the exhaustion, endless piles of laundry, dishes, and sibling squabbles, I am acutely aware of just how fleeting these treasured years are and truly desire to soak in every moment.
I am beyond blessed to have my biggest fan, encourager, challenger, comedy side-kick, prayer partner, and most of all, best friend and gracious husband by my side. We are sincerely passionate about our faith and know that we are works in progress. We absolutely love spending quality time with our families and our hearts melt to see our kids light up and giggle together like the best of friends. We have a weakness for Yoasis frozen yogurt and thoroughly enjoy life’s simple pleasures like dinner dates at Chipotle, game nights, watching home movies, teeing it up on the golf course, and having silly family dance parties in the living room with the music cranked up!
